Job Summary

The Sales Support Specialist provides administrative and clerical support and is responsible for assisting the Business Development Team with entering new brokers, customers, and opportunities into Salesforce, and tracking the progress of opportunities through the sales pipeline. administrative and clerical support to the sales team. This role will assist with a variety of sales activities including CRM data input, generating sales proposals, and customer service regarding products and pricing. This role will work closely with all Flores’ Business Development Directors to free them from the administrative aspects of selling to focus their energies on establishing new broker relationships. The Sales Support Specialist will report to the SVP of Business Development.
What You’ll Do
- Assist designated BDDs with the entry of sales related data into CRM and internal systems. Generate and distribute proposals to BDDs or direct to customers, where appropriate.
- Assist BDDs during lifecycle of sale to promote efficiency during sales process execution.
- Assist Sales team with seasonal activities and various ad-hoc projects.
- Audit and identify potential weak points in sales process and share key insights with the team to facilitate process optimization.
- Track, audit, and clean data in CRM system during lifecycle of sale.
- Work closely with BDDs through duration of Sales Process via email and phone while responding to multiple requests/questions in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as marketing, finance, and accounting to align initiatives across the organization.
- Support RFP related activities, as needed.
- Participate in post-sales support activity collaborating with other departments at Flores.
- Verify, coordinate, enter, or audit relevant data in proprietary systems to initiate client implementation processes, including sharing implementation information with client and broker stakeholders.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Who You Are
- An individual with a High School degree or equivalent.
- Minimum of one year of related experience.
- Someone proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel), data entry, and general computer skills.
- A detail-orientated individual with strong organizational and prioritization skills, the ability to adapt and multi-task.
- An individual who possesses a strong capability to learn, recognizes patterns, and is a creative thinker.
- A motivated team player with the ability to collaborate and work independently when necessary.
- Someone who is highly responsive, an excellent communicator, and has the ability to support multiple people.
- A qualified candidate understands that our business objective is to provide superior customer service to assigned clients and all participants by creating a positive relationship with both parties.

Work Environment
Flores’ standard work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET with an hour lunch. Roles may be approved for other schedules by managers. This role operates in a professional remote office environment.
