Work Schedule: Mon-Thurs, 9am-5:30pm; Friday, 830am-5:00pm; Saturday rotation as needed, 8:30am-12:00pm
Job Summary
Assists pharmacists with filling prescriptions, answers phones, enters prescriptions into the computer, greets and assists customers, solves non-professional customer service issues; mails prescriptions; uses automated filling machines; files prescriptions and reports; conducts inventory and orders medications; handles third-party insurance, beside delivery to patients within the hospital.
Qualifications
Must have effective Interpersonal communication skills, attention to detail and excellent customer service skills.
High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
Current Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician license required
PTCB certification required.
