🚀 About the Role Quantum Metric is looking for a smart, motivated, process-oriented financial systems expert for our growing accounting team to assist in executing on its vision of providing world-class financial and analytical support, insight and advice to one of the world’s fastest-growing global technology companies.
Over the past several years, we've made a number of key enhancements to our business systems infrastructure including upgrades to our ERP, Commissions, HRIS, and Data Management. Additionally, we have multiple projects on our road map such as procure-to-pay and travel & expense tools.
In this role, you will be responsible for the design and configuration of these financial systems, including integration and customization. This is a hands-on role to help us automate processes and reporting.
You will be a critical member of a top-notch accounting and finance organization, and play a key role in building and executing on a set of scalable, sustainable and efficient processes and systems to support the organization’s continued growth. Our team is focused on producing and reporting on timely, accurate financial information and on supporting the highest-priority business needs through our use of modern systems and industry-standard best practices, while creating an environment where team members enjoy coming to work and are proud of our contributions to the company’s success.

🔧 Responsibilities
- Ongoing System Administration: Implement security, administration, and internal controls best practices to manage and document day-to-day changes in our ERP (Netsuite) and other systems
- System Intergrations: Utilize your expertise in our most integral systems (i.e. NetSuite and Salesforce) to streamline financial processes and integrate data across multiple platforms
- New Financial System Implementation: Play a key role in the evaluation and implementation of new financial systems. This includes conducting research, assessing vendor proposals, and playing a key role the implementation process
- Process Improvement: Identify areas of improvement in our financial processes, systems, and procedures, and implement changes to streamline operations and enhance productivity
- Reporting: Improve data flows, such as integrating Netsuite to our data warehouse with FiveTran, and automating financial reporting currently done in Google Sheets and Excel
💡Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in either Finance/Accounting or Computer Science or a related field
- Experience with recurring revenue / subscription based businesses. B2B SaaS experience particularly helpful
- 5-10 years of experience in financial operations or financial system architecture which can be consultative or as an in-house resource
- Strong proficiency in NetSuite, with experience in integration
- Experience in evaluating and implementing financial systems, preferably with a track record of successful system migrations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Compensation: Hourly rate based on experience; targeting $50-100/hour
- Hours: 10+ hours per week
