Job Overview

Shriners Children's is the premier pediatric burn, orthopaedic, spinal cord injury, cleft lip and palate and pediatric subspecialties hospital and medical center.  We have an opportunity for a Food Service Worker Part-Time to join our team.

Responsibilities

The position of Food Service Worker performs a variety of tasks associated with the preparation and distribution of meals for the patients, visitors and the staff of Shriners Hospitals.

 

Kitchen Sanitation•Follow all state, federal and local sanitation laws. Patient Feeding•Tally sheets are followed and the patients get what they ordered in a timely manner. Cafeteria Feeding•Cafeteria is clean, condiments are stocked and all non food items are available to our customers.Catering Events•Catering events are set up on time and presentable when instructed by management.Food Preparation•Patient’s desserts and all food that does not require an oven is made and presentable. Customer Service•Customers are served in a polite and timely manner

Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED Required.

1 Year Food Services experience, preferrably within a hospital setting preferred.
