Dispatch Lead I (Mon-Fri 2:30pm 11:00pm)

Description

This position is responsible for the safety and productivity of all operation employees staffed on their designated shift. Additionally, the Team Lead position is accountable for ensuring that the scheduled operations are executed in a timely manner and within all quality standards; and that all open issues are escalated promptly to the appropriate supervisor, manager, and/or other appropriate management contacts.

• Monitor emails for their department and ensure emails are responded to in a timely manner. 
• Understand the priorities of their department 
• Run daily reports and communicate any discrepancies to upper management 
• Delegate and direct tasks amongst team members.  
• Enforce revolving manufacturing rules and processes. 
• Assist the Supervisor to ensure that your team of associates is properly trained to adhere to the policies, procedures, standard work instructions, and productivity in your department at RK Logistics 
• Assist the Supervisor to schedule workers in operations or plant to ensure efficiency. Ensures items are received, stocked, picked, inventoried, cleaned, and/or shipped properly 
• Ensures that all processes run smoothly and that workers are always kept safe 
• Provide supervisors, managers, peers, and subordinates with information about quality, safety, delivery, cost, and morale.   
• Assists supervisor in monitoring activity and making sure that daily quotas are met by keeping workers on task and informed of procedural changes. Escalates to supervisor if production falls behind for any reason. 
• Provides excellent internal and external customer service. 
• Assists with maintaining inventory during monthly physical counts. 
• Navigate within WMS to check on the material and its current location. 
• Help with the implementation of and continued adherence to Lean manufacturing and 5S initiatives. 
• Assess and analyze current practices and drive improvements. 
• Partners and coordinates with management, peers, subordinates, and other internal departments to resolve issues and concerns. 
• Lead by example of positive reinforcement and make RK Logistics a World Class company. 
• Maintains good partnerships with customers by responding to their needs and requirements. Provide company focal point for customer visits. 
• LEAD; if applicable duties: 

          -Handle all will call Inbounds and Deliveries  

          -Monitor QB ticketing system.  

          -Respond/monitor emails.  

          -Communicate and respond to engineers on a daily basis  

          -Inbound and Outbound crates, pallets, and boxes of material  

          -Disburse kits/shortages to engineers.  

          -Handle MTT’s, SA’s, ZSA’s, and other plant transaction items   

          -Process offsite SRK’s  

          -Crate and Box inventory/ordering  

          -Cleanroom bag inventory/ordering  

         -IPC employees/signing timecards.  

          -Run daily reports of Inbound and Outbound products.  

          -Run RMBWA’s for upper management.   

          -Process SAP Transactions  

          -Process RTS’s  

          -Process NCI’s/ Material Scrapping
