Primary Functions and Responsibilities: 

· Perform QA checks on all lines following the established SOP guidelines. 

· Participate in department projects related to form, function, and fit based upon customer’s specifications. 

· Perform instrument verification, calibration, cleaning and maintenance. 

· Label material (on quality hold) with the assigned disposition. 

· Assist the lead Operators in training operators to properly perform quality checks. 

· Ability to clearly define quality defects and provide summary of possible root causes (8D). 

· Participate in facility continuous improvement efforts. 

· Utilizing electronic vision system to ensure printed material matches the customer approved proof. 

· Place material on quality hold when requested by supervisor or management 

· Assists in training individuals and other team members as assigned. 

· Complies with established safety procedures and policies. 

· Works with other departments and maintenance personnel on projects and/or validations. 

· Focuses on Continuous Improvement, Quality, Improved Cycle Times, Safety, Cost Reductions, and Customer Satisfaction. 

· Complies with company policies, procedures, and core processes. 

· Performs other job duties as assigned. 

Requirements

  

· HS Diploma or GED required. 

· A basic understanding of common Quality Systems and problem-solving tools. 

· Computer and data entry skills required. Microsoft Outlook knowledge required. 

· Understand and use the X-Rite Color Management System. 

· Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, grasp and reach frequently. 

· Must be able to perform well under deadline constraints and meet quality standards. 

· Must be detail oriented and have excellent, quality driven work habits. 

· Willingness to work overtime, rotating shifts, and if needed, holidays and weekends. 

· Ability to work well with others.
