R&D Senior Supplier Manager

<p>The Senior Supplier manager in engineering is responsible for developing and implementing a strategic approach to managing suppliers in the R&amp;D department. This role requires the candidate to ensure that the company's supplier ecosystem is optimized, and to identify and mitigate risks related to its suppliers.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong>:</p> <ul> <li>Develop and implement a supplier management strategy for the engineering department</li> <li>Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and terms of agreement</li> <li>Develop and maintain a supplier evaluation program to measure performance and identify areas for improvement</li> <li>Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to supplier management</li> <li>Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure that supplier requirements are met</li> <li>Monitor and mitigate risks related to suppliers, such as resources disruptions, quality issues, and delivery delays</li> <li>Develop and maintain metrics to measure the effectiveness of supplier management processes</li> <li>Provide regular updates to senior management on supplier performance, issues, and opportunities for improvement</li> </ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul> <li>Master's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field</li> <li>10+ years of experience in supplier management or supply chain management</li> <li>Fluent in English</li> <li>Experience in the service engineering industry or automatic/logistic industry preferred</li> <li>Strong negotiation and contract management skills</li> <li>Knowledge of supplier management best practices and industry trends</li> <li>Ability to analyze data and use metrics to drive decision-making</li> <li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</li> </ul>
