Job Description:
The Accenture Federal Services (AFS) is seeking a Business Analyst to analyze an organization and design its processes and systems, assessing the business model and its integration with technology. Assess current state, identify customer requirements, and define the future state and/or business solution. Research, gather and synthesize information.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct organizational studies and evaluations to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Design systems and procedures to optimize business operations.
- Perform work simplification and measurement studies.
- Prepare detailed operations and procedures manuals.
- Analyze user needs to determine functional and cross-functional requirements.
- Perform functional allocation to identify required tasks and their interrelationships.
- Assist in establishing standards for information systems procedures.
- Develop and apply departmental information models for designing and building integrated, shared software and database management systems.
- Construct sound, logical business improvement opportunities consistent with corporate information management guiding principles, cost savings, and open system architecture objectives.
- Identify resources required for each task and ensure efficient allocation.
Here's what you need:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in business analysis or a related field.
- Master’s degree (MS), Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Management, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- Proven ability to conduct organizational studies and evaluations.
- Experience in designing systems and procedures to optimize business operations
Bonus points if you have:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently on high-visibility or mission-critical projects.
- Experience in performing functional allocation and developing information models.
Security Clearance:
- Active TS/SCI US Government security clearance is required
As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, New York, Washington, and the District of Columbia. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
