Department: Assessment Grade: 150 Salary: $19.93/hour Job Duties:  

• Responsible for auditing  the personal property records of over 24,000 businesses and adjusting the assessed value of the accounts accordingly; answers questions as related to business personal property. 
• Ensures every active account is assigned an assessed value. 
• Responsible for receiving and responding to taxpayer inquiries.
• Processes large amounts of paperwork in compliance with deadlines established by various Government entities and by the Director of Assessment.

Minimum Qualifications: 

• Must have a High School Diploma/GED.
• One year of experience in personal property appraisal, accounting, auditing or related fields.
• Must possess/maintain a valid Missouri Driver’s License.
• Must submit to/pass pre-employment drug screen test/background check.
