Job Description

Your contribution to something big:

• Implement Supplier and Material Group Strategies on Bosch Home Comfort level;
• Perform price negotiations with suppliers and conclude legally binding contracts;
• Identify and mitigate supplier risks in a sustainable way;
• Strive for supplier improvements, e.g. costs, logistics, production, quality, sustainability;
• Perform commercial purchasing tasks such as market benchmark, comparison of quotations based on TCO - Total Cost Ownership requirements and supplier selection decision following the standard BOSCH decision process;
• Actively identify, implement, review and support all measures with impact on the direct material cost development;
• Prepare and deliver all the relevant information for execution of Business Plan (quantities forecast for following year and estimated costs savings).

Qualifications

What distinguishes you: 

• Education: Business Management degree, Engineering or Economy;
   
• Experience: 2-3 years’ experience in Purchasing as buyer;
   
• Working Style and Methods: Results Orientation;
  Excellent communication and negotiation skills, ability to manage business relationship with international stakeholders and suppliers;
   
• Personality: Ability to solve problems and initiative;
   
• Languages: Very good communication skills in English and preferably in Portuguese too;
  
  Willingness to travel occasionally.
