Factory Service Technician

Overview:

Reporting to the Regional Service Manager, the Factory Service Technician will utilize a customer first approach to diagnose and repair major household appliances.  These units include but are not limited to refrigerators, ranges, dishwashers, microwaves, freezers, ventilation hoods, washers, and dryers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair appliances within an assigned region.

• Maintain an excellent customer satisfaction score.
• Utilize company supplied uniform and maintain a professional presentation.
• Utilize company supplied vehicle to travel to customer locations.
• Utilize company supplied laptop to file service claims daily.
• Maintain a well-organized inventory of spare parts and accessories.
• Work with Regional Service Manager to support builder site inspections.
• Perform other industry related tasks as outlined by the Regional Service Manager.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience diagnosing and repairing household appliances.
• Current CFC Universal Certification or obtain within 6 months of employment.
• Must possess all current licensing required to repair appliances in assigned region.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Proficient with basic computer skills including Microsoft Suite.
• Extensive knowledge of basic hand and power tools.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Qualified applicants must be a U.S. Citizen or Legal Permanent Resident card holder.  Sponsorship is not available for this role.
