Our team is a hard-working, energetic, and deeply engaged group of individuals providing senior executive search leadership and consultative services across the entire NBCUniversal global enterprise – TV & Streaming (Entertainment, News, Sports, Peacock), Film, Animation, Ad Sales, Parks & Resorts, Consumer Products, Digital, Shared Services, and Corporate. Our people are our greatest asset, so we have an incredibly important job of identifying, recruiting, and hiring a diverse mix of exceptional leaders. We partner closely with enterprise-wide business leaders and HR colleagues and identify internal and external candidates for mission critical leadership roles. In addition, the team provides talent advisory services: including external talent mapping, competitive market and organizational/leadership intelligence, and proactive pipelining to support near-, mid- and long-term succession and talent planning needs. The Position:
As part of NBCUniversal’s global full-service in-house executive search team, the Executive Search Operations Specialist will serve as an important connection point between Search activities and Team Operations & Intelligence. You will be directly involved in the recruitment work that drives our business and you will leverage that search knowledge, working with the Manager of Ops & Intelligence, to create innovative solutions to & problem solve operational pain-points with the goal of improving data quality and streamlining our data driven approach.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provide administrative support to recruiting staff (ex. Calendar management, Scheduling meetings; data entry, travel booking etc.).
- Aid in maintaining various team documents & file structures.
- Prepare and update important tracking documents and files on an ongoing basis.
- Own the opening process for new projects.
- Aid in quarterly, yearly, and ad-hoc reporting.
- Assist in performing system audits to improve real-time data capture, ensure reporting quality, and improve overall system health.
- Support training initiatives & subsequent change management processes for team.
- Create training manuals that set team recruiting practices and engage in change management initiatives to uphold those practices.
- Work with data from disparate systems with ultimate goal of reporting it in a single format.
- Perform various activities related to yearly budget discussions.
- Manage vendor relationships and payment processing.
- Own special projects, as assigned.
Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in HR, recruiting, data & reporting, or related field desired.
- Interest in interacting with & learning to use an ATS, CRM, or other similar HR-technologies.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, with an emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint, as well as Outlook and Word.
- Desire to engage in more complex uses & functions of Excel.
- Appetite to learn about various HR Metrics (ex. Retention, Hiring, Candidate Metrics, etc.) and their use in reporting processes.
- Accustomed to problem-solving quickly and efficiently, with a talent for predicting possible issues/roadblocks before they arise.
