Overview
The Global IT Category Director owns global category strategy and sourcing execution for IT related spend. This role partners closely with IT leadership, Finance, and Procurement Operations to drive value through strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, and disciplined category management while ensuring alignment with global procurement policies and governance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute global IT category strategies aligned to business and financial objectives
- Lead strategic sourcing initiatives, RFPs, negotiations, and supplier selection for IT spend
- Partner with IT, Finance, and Procurement Business Partners to forecast demand and manage category pipelines
- Support contract negotiations and vendor lifecycle activities in coordination with Procurement Operations and Legal
- Track category performance, savings, and supplier outcomes
- Ensure sourcing and contracting activities align with global procurement standards, approvals, and documentation requirements
- Maintain audit ready records supporting sourcing decisions and supplier selections
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in strategic sourcing or category management, with IT spend exposure
- Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and analytical skills
- Experience operating in a global, matrixed organization
- Financial acumen and comfort partnering with senior business and technology leaders

U.S. Eligibility Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
