Fund Monitoring Analyst

<p><strong>About the Role</strong></p> <p>iCapital is looking to hire a Fund Monitoring Analyst to join the Fund Monitoring,&nbsp;Reporting and Governance team. This individual will be responsible for conducting ongoing investment monitoring for private market fund investments across the iCapital platform. Over time, this role will also involve presenting investment updates to both internal stakeholders as well as wealth advisors and their clients.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Monitor underlying fund performance across iCapital’s private equity, private credit, and real asset offerings.&nbsp;</li> <li>Prepare clear and concise call summaries, investment updates, and talking points.</li> <li>Prepare performance analytics and fund-level financial modeling.</li> <li>Keep track of broader macro developments and trends through regular engagement with iCapital’s fund managers.</li> <li>Attend Annual General Meetings (AGMs) on behalf of iCapital to receive updates from fund managers.</li> <li>Maintain and update internal confluence fund monitoring database.</li> <li>Communicate fund investment updates effectively to both internal and external stakeholders.</li> <li>Prepare materials and analysis for use by Governance colleagues on select projects, including secondary sales and investment oversight decisions.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s Degree, progress toward CFA or CAIA is preferred</li> <li>1-3 years of relevant experience; private markets, investment banking, asset management or investment consultant experience is a plus</li> <li>Strong verbal and written communication skills</li> <li>Experience with financial analysis and modeling. Proficiency in Excel is required, familiarity with valuation methodologies (DCF, peer comps, etc.) preferred</li> <li>Interest in and willingness to learn about the alternative investment landscape</li> <li>Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail</li> <li>Willingness and ability&nbsp;to travel up to ~10% as required</li> </ul> <p></p> <p></p> <p><strong>Benefits</strong></p> <p>The base salary range for this role is $65,000 to $80,000.&nbsp; iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus.
