About the role

We are currently seeking a Payroll Project Manager to support our payroll projects, including building new payrolls due to mergers and acquisitions and payroll provider changes. This role will lead the projects, developing project plans, managing stakeholder engagement, and collaborating with other departments to ensure successful implementations. 

Accountabilities:
As a Payroll Project Manager, you will be responsible for task managing subject matter experts supporting projects to foster a culture of collaboration, excellence and continuous improvement. You will identify opportunities to deliver savings and successful outcomes to internal customers, implement and maintain quality control processes, maintain relationships with customers in line with the customer relationship strategy and plan, and manage projects ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.

Essential Skills/Experience:
- Track record in leading projects of medium complexity
- Management consulting experience
- Experience in people management and developing and motivating teams
- Strong sense of customer service and customer engagement
- Experience in project and quality assurance practices
- Demonstration of strong influencing, communication and relationship building skills 
- Comfortable and skilled in operating in a complex operational matrix organization across diverse, global teams 

Desirable Skills/Experience:
- Project Management Certification
- Change Management Certification
- Pharmaceutical or equivalent global & complex organization experience

- Experience of working within a quality and compliance environment and application of policies, procedures and guidelines
