YOUR MISSION
As a part of the data organization you will work to ensure customers have an excellent experience when ordering through the Glovo app. You will work on problems related to recommendations, pricing, customer retention and more. You will be responsible for nurturing a strong experimentation culture, work on discoveries that drive the product roadmap and build solutions that impact millions of customers.
THE JOURNEY
Be part of a team where you will:
- Leverage advanced statistical modeling and machine learning techniques to solve for product and business problems that drive the highest impact.
- Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to define the product roadmap and strategy, monitor and give visibility of product metrics and KPIs.
- Drive product discovery, formulate data-driven hypotheses and convert them into analysis and actionable insights.
- Own analytics tasks end to end in the product development cycle: from ideation and opportunity sizing to experimentation and post-launch impact analyses.
- Foster strong relationships with stakeholders acting as a strategic and supportive link between the technology, business, and product.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE
Requirements:
- 2-5 years of professional experience outside of an academic and internship setting, in a quantitative analysis role, preferably in product facing teams
- A higher education in a scientific discipline such as Physics, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics or Economics.
- Knowledge and experience in digital product development and working with diverse stakeholders
- Demonstrable experience with the application of statistical modeling and advanced analytics to provide product-shaping insights and drive decision-making
- Deep theoretical and applied knowledge in at-least one of the following areas: supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, reinforcement learning, game theory, statistical inference, bayesian statistics, causal inference, time series analysis, decision
