Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. WE LOVE OUR WORK.
- Responsible for directing the overall operations and staff of the Marketing department. Develops, implements, and manages operational goals and monitors achievements of performance and profit objectives in all areas of responsibility.
- Develops and implements annual Marketing plan for the property that supports the overall brand strategy for the company.
- Responsible for assessing, anticipating, and reacting to the competitive marketplace in regard to marketing strategies, programs, campaigns, and promotions.
- Builds long-term relationships with customers to strengthen the brand value.
- Ensures that scheduling is done in an effective and efficient manner to support all Marketing initiatives while maintaining labor costs, meeting staffing objectives, and achieving guest satisfaction.
- Responsible for preparing, monitoring, and adhering to budgets and ensuring compliance to departmental budget initiatives.
- Reports budget concerns/deviations to Executive Management/GM.
- Ensures effective control of marketing results, and takes corrective action to guarantee that achievement of Marketing objectives falls within designated budgets.
- Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with departmental and company standards and programs.
- Ensures customer service standards are followed by all team members and addresses issues as they arise.
- Responsible for the overall achievement of departmental customer service goals.
- Ensures coordination with iT to ensure all resources are available to run programs.
- Expertise with all company Brand programs and systems and provides input to improve Brand direct marketing efforts.
- Responsible for ensuring the compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to Executive Management/GM.
- Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.

- Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) from an accredited four-year college or university required, focus in Marketing or related area preferred.
- Five (5) years of progressively more challenging experience in a senior Marketing role with direct responsibility for revenue generation.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.).
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Ability to understand and analyze Budget Statements, P&L Statements, and competitive information to develop plans with measurable results.
- Proven managerial and critical thinking skills required.
- Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive and strategic approach to dealing with issues.
- Must possess exceptional customer service, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Ability to manage employees working in a high-pressure environment towards successful results for the property and company.
- Strong client interface and presentation skills preferred.
- Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff, and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.
