Part-time job within Finance at Zurich Insurance

 

We are currently seeking a highly organized and motivated student to join our finance department part-time during their studies. Job Description:

In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks commonly found in a finance department, including bank reconciliation, bookkeeping, processing invoices, liaising with other departments, and allocating payments. The work involves electronically handling supplier invoices and managing our Accounts Payable ledger. Additionally, you will provide support to colleagues by assisting with account reconciliations and account postings. Our vendor invoices are processed using Rillion, and SAP is our Financial System.

 

 

Key tasks and accountabilities:

• Respond to emails promptly and professionally, addressing any finance-related inquiries or requests.
• Perform bank reconciliation to ensure accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Maintain accurate bookkeeping records, including recording financial transactions and updating ledgers.
• Process invoices and ensure timely payments to vendors and suppliers.
• Collaborate and liaise with other departments to gather necessary financial information and resolve any discrepancies.
• Allocate payments to appropriate accounts and ensure accuracy in financial records.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements as required.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of finance department processes and procedures.
• Handle any other ad hoc tasks related to finance department operations as assigned.

Qualifications:

• At least two years left of your studies
• Administrative skills and proficient in Excel
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in Swedish and English

• Service minded, flexible and good communication skills
• Ability to co-operate well with both colleagues and customers
• You possess strong attention to detail and a high level of responsibility.

 

 

You will be hired on an hourly basis and the working occasions are flexible. We expect that you are able to work about 2 days per week on average parallel with your studies and during semester breaks.
