About the role

The position is responsible for the overall administration of U.S. Defined Contribution and Defined Benefit Retirement Plans. Main responsibilities include vendor management, budget assistance and problem resolution. We look forward to seeing your application! 

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Day-to-day plan administration in high volume defined contribution and defined benefit programs.
  • Assist business unit HR in administration of the defined contribution plans.
  • Provide day-to-day support to HR field staff in answering questions.
  • Work with Corporate payroll department to ensure timely and accurate submission of information to record keeper.
  • Answer participant questions regarding the DC and DB plans.
  • Serves as the day-to-day contact for Emerson’s pension outsourcing vendor and record keeper.
  • Coordinate non-discrimination testing and plan audits.
  • Coordinate distribution of Summary Plan Descriptions.
  • Conduct special projects as required.

For This Role, You Will Need:
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field
  • Strong Excel skills (for example pivot tables, formulas, etc.)
  • 5 years of analytics experience
  • Is detail-oriented and committed to accuracy
  • Establishes clear responsibilities and processes for monitoring work and measuring results.
  • Identifies and seize new opportunities.
  • Facilitates an open dialogue with a wide variety of contributors and stakeholders.
  • Provides timely and helpful information to individuals across the organization.
  • Establishes and maintain effective customer relationships.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
  • Five years benefit plan experience, preferably in retirement plan administration
