Allegion is looking for a passionate Senior Mobile Engineer to work as part of a highly engaged small team within a global organization of 12,000+ employees, representing 30+ brands (including Schlage, Von Duprin and LCN) focused on safety, security and access management. What you’ll do:
Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions for new and existing Allegion products.
Work closely with product management and other functional stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them to elegant implementation.
Collaborate with global teams for product development
Conduct peer reviews for code and design
Contribute towards the continuous improvement of the quality and process
Serve as a mobility subject matter expert in the project
Work autonomously while being an effective team player
What you need to succeed:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent in years of relevant work experience.
5 to 7 Years of experience in Software Application Development.
Located in Colorado Metro Area.
Strong proficiency in native Android app development using Kotlin, with iOS development experience considered a plus.
Solid understanding of mobile app architecture patterns (MVC, MVVM, etc.) and design principles.
Knowledge of RESTful APIs, JSON, and integrating third-party libraries and APIs.
Experience in unit testing or Test-Driven Development (TDD) for mobile applications.
Experience in setting up and maintaining CI/CD.
