Join our team in Sandy Springs, GA at the beautiful, senior living community, Somerby Sandy Springs. This is a PRN Speech Language Pathologist position with regular hours Monday – Friday; no evenings, weekends, or holidays.

At Somerby Sandy Springs, the mission is to inspire and nurture successful aging and our multi-disciplinary rehabilitation team will play an important role in keeping residents as independent and healthy as possible. A rehabilitation provider since 1983, Tx:Team brings specialized Geriatric Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy Services to the Somerby Sandy Springs community.


The details:

  • Somerby Sandy Springs has a spacious fitness center and aerobic exercise pool, therapy space, and a collaborative working relationship with the onsite providers. Our model for therapy services includes 1:1 patient care and a therapy-led onsite fitness program.
  • The beautiful campus includes three living options for Seniors: Independent Living, Assisted Living and Memory Care.
  • Patient care schedule is Monday - Friday with no evenings, weekends, or holidays.
  • Candidates must be driven to excite the community and educate residents on rehabilitation services.

The requirements:

  • Two (2) years of experience in a geriatric outpatient environment
  • Experience with Dementia, Dysphagia, and Cognition
  • LSVT LOUD Certification is a plus
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence

The clinical responsibilities:

  • Deliver One on One quality speech therapy services according to treatment plans for patients
  • Document progress toward identified objectives
  • Provide accurate and timely documentation for current patient caseload within EMR
  • Create a positive work environment to promote teamwork and communication
  • Conduct patient and family education

This Speech Language Pathologist position will enable you to use your skills to grow programs in the community and with residents of Somerby Sandy Springs.
