BASIC PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF POSITION
Responsible for A/R cash application including KCC contracts, EFT, ACH, Wire, and checks. Research, resolve, and respond to inquiries from dealers and division staff. Process billings, transfers, offsets, reversals, and due date extensions efficiently and accurately.
PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES: This position does the following in accordance with all applicable Federal, State and local laws / regulations and the Company’s policies, procedures and guidelines:
• Ensure that all transactions performed are in compliance and follow Kubota’s DOA
• Responsible for ensuring all payments on unapplied cash report are processed by EOD
• Posting and applying cash; processing all payments in a timely manner
• Bank statement researching and processing
• Preparing and processing check requests
• Assist dealers with the online remittance process
• Unapplying and reapplying payments
• Preparing and processing check deposits
• Investigate and resolve dealer and division queries
• Processing loan cancelations and repossessed units
• Extensive research in various A/R issues
• Maintain accounts receivable files and records
• Assist with month-end closing
• Communicate with dealers / KTC staff via phone, email, mail, or personally
• Research and process due date extensions
• Processing Used Equipment Requests
• Generate misc invoices and credit memos
• Internal / Affiliate Collections; responsible for a set of accounts. Provide invoices, follow up on past due balances.
• Reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies
• Daily and Monthly balance reporting; ensure all cash receipts are collected, properly recorded and agree to the company's records and bank detail reports.
• Prepare various reports and resolve discrepancies
• Prepare and provide audit documentation
• Assist with system testing as needed
• Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in accounts receivables or related position preferred.
• Understanding of basic principles of finance, accounting, and bookkeeping
• Ability to keep company and partner confidences
• Effective organizational and time management skills. Ability to multitask.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word (intermediate to advanced).
• Detail oriented, resourceful, and possess good analytical skills.
• Ability to be flexible and accept additional responsibility as job conditions change/evolve.
• Ability to interact professionally with Dealers, Division and Corporate management.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Typical office environment.
