Job Responsibilities

• Articulate the requirements, draft a design proposal and ability to support Enterprise Storage & Cloud Infrastructure technologies in Hybrid environments

• Assist with the build effort on new public / private / hybrid cloud compute and storage infrastructure from proof of concept through production launch and ongoing maintenance

• Design, implement and maintain SAN and NAS storage services/ solutions for use by cloud and other compute infrastructure

• Independently identify, evaluate and provide engineering for technologies within the Storage services (Block, File, Object, Data Protection, etc.) both on-premises and in Cloud (AWS/Azure)

• Collaborate with Security, IT Compliance, SDLC Engineering, Cross Product teams, and QA departments to support of our Hybrid Cloud vision

• Design a highly available architecture ensuring services can be consumed as self-service via API/portal by various Product / upstream Infrastructure teams

• Proven experience with Microsoft server OS, Microsoft active directory, RHEL/Ubuntu OS in enterprise-class computing environments. Good root cause discovery and troubleshooting is critical for this role

• Ability to see things in different prospective to find gaps and then drive process improvements using automation wherever possible

• Strive to be a strong DevOps Storage expert who can offer help and advice to colleagues from various other teams part of our service consultancy engagement to business application teams and users

• Open for new learning and new challenges for skill upgrade and service & process enhancement for betterment of products we support

Requirements

Relevant IT Technical Experience in Enterprise Storage, Cloud & DR related Infrastructure technologies: 

• Network Attached Storage (NAS) - Hands-On experience NetApp and or Isilon On-premises storage technologies 

• Storage Area Network (SAN) - Good understanding of Dell Storage solutions for enterprises 

• AWS Cloud (PaaS, IaaS, SaaS) - Hands-On experience working on AWS cloud projects and automation 

• Experience/Familiarity with cloud computing services: Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), Software as a Service (SaaS) 

• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as a Code (IaC) automation technologies and tools e.g. Ansible, and/or terraform and coding with Python/PowerShell/Bash scripting etc.

• Ability to work on automation tasks part of sprint arrangement with committed time and goals

• Very good understanding of requirement gathering, designing solutions including drawing the workflow using visual tools (Confluence, drawio etc.) and deploying AWS Services e.g. Elastic Compute (EC2), Storages (S3, Lambda, Event Bridge, CloudWatch, SNS, EFS, FSx and AWS Storage Gateway)
