Job Description
We are seeking an organized and efficient Automotive Parts Warehouse Clerk to join our team in Tulsa, Oklahoma. In this role, you will be responsible for managing inventory, processing orders, and ensuring the smooth operation of our automotive parts warehouse.
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming automotive parts and supplies
- Pick, pack, ship, and deliver orders accurately and efficiently
- Maintain accurate inventory records using computerized inventory management systems
- Perform regular cycle counts and assist with annual physical inventories
- Organize and maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment
- Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts, as needed
- Assist in identifying and reporting discrepancies in inventory levels
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment
- Handle returns and exchanges of automotive parts
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies
- This position is full time, starting at $15 per hour, with a potential career path into the parts department as a parts specialist.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency in using inventory management systems and basic computer skills (MS Office, data entry)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- 1-2 years of experience in warehouse operations or automotive parts industry preferred
- Knowledge of automotive parts and terminology a plus
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies
- Clean driving record with valid driver's license
