Salary: $82,551/year

Job Duties:

• Responsible for assisting the Director of Collections in the collection of all current and delinquent taxes by all legal means available for taxing agencies in the County. Duties include managing efficient day-to-day operations of the department.
• Oversees the department in the absence of the Director; assists the Director in maintaining and controlling all official financial records, including payroll information for the department; and coordinates the activities of employees designated to assist taxpayers who have tax problems or questions regarding taxes collected.
• Responsible for planning and coordinating annual recurring functions of the department, including accurately recording and maintaining personal property records.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Business or Public Administration or related area (preferred); OR
• Four years of progressively responsible experience in collections, accounting, finance, business or public administration or related field.
• Management experience is required.
• Must submit to and pass a background check and drug screen.
