The Retail Operation Analyst role is responsible for ensuring the data quality of a retailer-defined database through data analytics to uncover coverage, placement, and maintenance opportunities. This role also understands the client's internal resources and processes to contribute solutions that optimize our relationship with the client as well as our manufacturing partners.

Job Description
The Retail Operations Analyst will work with large sets of data to perform comparisons with NIQ reported data and the retailer's internal data to identify gaps and provide solutions to discrepancies. This position works closely with client support teams, the client, and cross-functional NIQ teams to identify opportunities and action plans to address key business needs while managing expectations regarding process and operations capabilities with all stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Appropriately set and manage expectations regarding process and database capabilities with all stakeholders.
- Understand, interpret, and provide recommendations for addressing NIQ products & services to further delight the client.
- Provide consistent delivery of scorecards as per expected cadence.
- Clearly communicate the status of various database improvement initiatives.
- Provide fact-driven measurement of NIQ processes.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience with a background within the Retail, CPG, or similar industries.
- Comfortable working with large datasets with basic level database knowledge.
- Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong oral and written communication, organization, and critical thinking skills.
- Adaptability to changing workflows & processes in the ever-evolving landscape of delivery systems.
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work with both internal and external teams.
- Organization skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong attention to detail with a sense of urgency and accountability to drive client outcomes.
- Preferred skills: Proficiency with NIQ proprietary software and tools, Salesforce, SQL/Python.
