From conservationists tracking endangered species to emergency response teams managing natural disasters, your work will directly impact the tools that drive real-time, location-aware action in the field.</p> <p>As a Senior Software Developer, you’ll design and implement intuitive, high-performance mobile apps using the latest Apple technologies. You’ll focus on solving complex challenges like offline data synchronization, real-time mapping, and seamless device integration, all while collaborating with a talented team to build solutions that are as reliable as they are impactful.</p> <p>Help shape the future of field mobility on iOS and create apps that truly make a difference!</p> <p>Esri has a Relocation Assistance Program and can provide support with relocating to the Redlands, CA area for this position.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Design, develop, and test functionality for the latest iOS apps</li> <li>Join forces with other developers and designers throughout the development process</li> <li>Understand user requirements; these apps have to meet real-world scenarios</li> <li>Develop software for use in field mapping, data collection, sensor networks, street navigation, and more</li> <li>Solve complex problems with design, development, and user experience</li> <li>Be an Apple advocate within Esri and at conferences; help us grow our iOS development expertise</li> <li>Develop strong skills and best practices on the team through participation in design and code reviews</li> </ul> <p><strong>Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li>Be an Apple enthusiast and a game changer</li> <li>5+ years of commercial software development experience</li> <li>You are eager to learn but you’ve got these things covered: <ul> <li>Objective-C and/or Swift</li> <li>Xcode</li> <li>Developing with the Cocoa and Cocoa Touch APIs</li> <li>Object oriented design skills</li> <li>Data structures and algorithms</li> </ul> </li> <li>App development issues related to performance optimization and caching</li> <li>All the other important things that will help you be successful at Esri: <ul> <li>Good communication skills,&nbsp;</li> <li>A team player who can also fly solo</li> <li>The ability to thrive in an environment that changes often</li> </ul> </li> <li>Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or mathematics</li> <li>Did we
