CP is responsible for:

  • Leading Cloud RAN R&D technology
  • Innovating and maintaining top Edge Cloud O-RAN and Cloud RAN products
  • Executing Cloud RAN programs successfully
  • Leveraging open-source communities for technology leadership
  • Achieving business targets for CP hardware and software
  • Delivering Nokia data center solutions for Radio and RIC/MEC applications
  • Developing Cloud Platforms products with optimal cycle times and cost efficiency

As a SW Engineer in the new CP team, you'll:

  • Implement and integrate software features
  • Plan and organize work globally
  • Maintain platform and DevOps (Docker, Python)
  • Conduct testing
  • Develop tools, optimize builds and assess software quality
  • Implement and optimize code (C/C++ or modern languages)

You have:

  • Experience in SW development/testing
  • Understanding of good SW practices for high-quality software
  • Knowledge of agile development and CI/CD practices
  • Strong experience in C++ and Golang (development and testing)
  • Experience with Linux and scripting/coding (e.g., Python, Golang)
  • Understanding of cloud runtime environments

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Understanding of 5G architecture and CNCF/Kubernetes
  • Strong grasp of cloud infrastructure (e.g., RedHat, AWS)
  • Experience with open-source software and software development
  • Knowledge of processor architectures, embedded, and real-time systems
  • Skills in cellular systems, cloud computing, and software development
