The Director of Quality Assurance (QA) is a strategic and hands-on leader responsible for shaping and executing the organization’s quality vision. This role oversees all QA and Change Control (CC) functions, ensuring that products and services meet rigorous internal standards and external regulatory requirements. The Director will champion a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and operational excellence, while leading a high-performing team of QA professionals. They will stay ahead of the curve in QA techniques and practices, and ensure a strong automation program is maintained in addition to manual testing.

As our Director of Software Quality Assurance, you’ll support HID’s success by:
- Defining and promoting a company-wide quality mindset aligned with business goals.
- Developing, implementing and maintaining QA policies, procedures, and standards.
- Setting and tracking quality assurance goals and KPIs.
- Leading and mentoring QA team, including analysts, managers, and/or automation engineers.
- Overseeing QA and CC processes, ensuring timely delivery of test strategies, plans, and reports.
- Managing test documentation for UI, functional, regression, accessibility, and ad-hoc testing.
- Coordinating with DevOps and TechOps to ensure environment continuity.
- Analyzing quality data to identify trends and drive corrective actions.
- Leading root cause analysis and preventive initiatives.
- Identifying and escalating risk factors to the Risk Management Committee.
- Ensuring compliance with all internal policies and external policies supported by the company, and other regulatory standards.
- Maintaining and evolving a robust automation testing program.
- Leveraging modern QA tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Xray, JMeter).
- Staying ahead of industry trends in QA methodologies and technologies.
- Partnering with Product Managers and SCRUM teams to define testable requirements.
- Supporting Incident Management and customer issue resolution.
- Contributing to documentation, training, and knowledge sharing across departments.
