Senior Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Supervision

• Supervise and lead a team of production operators, technicians, and junior supervisors across designated manufacturing lines.

• Serve as a mentor and escalation point for line supervisors and act as a liaison between production staff and plant leadership.

• Assist with workforce planning to ensure smooth operations and minimal downtime.

Production & Quality Oversight

• Ensure adherence to production targets, quality standards, and manufacturing specifications

• Monitor KPIs and process performance; initiate continuous improvement efforts when appropriate

• Collaborate closely with Management, Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance to address yield losses, defects, and downtime events.

Safety & Compliance

• Enforce rigorous safety standards and environmental controls, and enforce observance of PPE guidelines

• Conduct routine safety audits, participate in incident investigations, and ensure team compliance with OSHA, EPA, and ISO standards.

• Maintain and update documentation for SOPs, work instructions, and training logs.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Support new product introductions (NPIs), scale-up activities, and process validation efforts.

• Partner with R&D and engineering teams on process improvements and pilot line transfers.

• Provide input for CapEx planning, equipment commissioning, and production layout optimization.

Qualifications

• This position is open only to current SKBA Production Supervisors
• Demonstrated success within department
• Familiarity with SKBA's Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and other relevant systems
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (specifically Excel)
• Must be in good standing with the company
