JOB SUMMARY
The Registered Nurse shall be responsible for planning, supervising and evaluating the nursing care of essential functions of patients and for correlating the nursing process in the pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative phases of the patient’s surgical experience.
Qualifications
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing as evidenced by verification of state licensure.
Experience: Has completed appropriate training by means of education, competency skills check off and certifications. Surgery experience preferred.
Licenses/Certificates: Current Tennessee or Compact State registered nurse license required. Must maintain BLS. ACLS and PALS required within 6 months of assignment to department.
