SALARY:  The salary range for this position is $59,661.54 to $96,767.80 for Schedule A, and $59,661.54 to $91,929.42 for Schedule B.  For newly hired individuals, the starting salary will normally be at the minimum of the salary range. For current Judiciary employees, salary upon promotion or advancement will be an increase of 5% of base salary, not to exceed the maximum of the range, or the minimum salary of the band/level, whichever is greater. Judiciary employees hired prior to June 3, 2014, are considered Schedule A. Newly hired individuals, and Judiciary employees hired on or after June 3, 2014, are considered Schedule B.

The New Jersey Judiciary is seeking a decisive, goal-oriented professional with a strong commitment to quality and exceptional attention to detail to join the Judicial Education & Performance Unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating judicial education materials, including digital archives and other formats—to support ongoing training needs across the state. The selected candidate will also be responsible for coordinating the Continuing legal education service provider work of the unit.


This role requires outstanding organizational and communication skills, as well as a thorough understanding of the confidentiality required when managing sensitive content.   Join a team of professionals charged with creating and executing effective judicial education training and professional development events.


REMOTE WORK: The Judiciary currently offers a hybrid work schedule, and this position may qualify for up to 2 days of remote work outside of Judiciary buildings. To participate in this program, in addition to installing a multifactor authentication app on your phone or tablet, you will be required to have high speed home internet access.

Examples of duties

Regular and predictable physical presence at the worksite is an essential function of this position.

  • Coordinate CLE service provider duties for unit events, including maintaining provider status, ensuring compliance with Board on Continuing Legal Education (BCLE) regulations, and keeping accurate audit trails.

  • Analyze practices to ensure all programming adheres to BCLE requirements.

  • Manage the production of event materials, collaborating with judges and national expert faculty on logistics and content for educational events.

  • Maintain databases related to faculty, CLE credits, course attendees, and other event information.

  • Develop efficient workflows for processing post-event training documentation.

  • Conduct post-conference analysis and reconciliation to ensure performance standards are met and workflows are effective.

  • Compile and organize educational materials (such as PowerPoint slides, manuals, and bench cards) to ensure consistency with presentation standard
