We currently offer a career opportunity for a motivated Senior Consultant or Manager for the EU Account.

 

Tasks & Responsibilities

• You will work as a Senior Consultant or Manager dedicated to providing policy and legal advisory services to the EU institutions;
• You will work on a number of policy areas managed by various Commission DGs and European Parliament Committees;
• You will contribute / lead the preparation of EU proposals;
• You will manage specific projects (organising, directing, guiding, and ensuring the quality of the legal desk research and analysis, surveys, interviews, etc.);
• You will deliver advanced analysis of EU law and national implementation of EU law.
• You will coordinate colleagues including briefing, reviewing and coaching;
• You will build relationships with existing and new clients to understand and address their needs.
  
   

Profile

• At least a master’s degree in Law. Specialization in EU Law is a distinct advantage.
• You have been working with the EU’s clients, both involved in the development of proposals and in research and/or legal consulting role;
• You have minimum 3-8 years’ experience in a similar position;
• You have strong self-motivation and an ability to lead and motivate colleagues;
• You have proven analytical skills and an ability to tailor the results of the analysis to individual clients.
• Excellent (written and spoken) English. The command of other EU languages is an advantage;
• You have a deep understanding of EU law;
• Field experience in consumer law and/or internal market law will be a strong asset;
