Description
The Operations Support Assistant Manager works with the Senor Parking Operations Manager providing administrative and bookkeeping duties and functions to ensure financial records are up-to-date accurate. Operations Support Assistant Manager works with the Parking Enforcement Manager to oversee all Event Parking operations. The Operations Support Assistant Manager will supervise office cashiers and event staff.Key Responsibilities
Event Parking Responsibilities:
- Plan, staff, and coordinate all event parking logistics and operations.
- Recruit, train, motivate, schedule, and discipline event parking staff.
- Attend all event coordination meetings with clients and the Hartford Yard Goats.
- Manage revenue collection and auditing for all parking events and associated personnel.
- Oversee and manage office cashier staff, including training, scheduling, performance evaluations, and discipline.
- Assist the Senior Parking Operations Manager with the preparation of the monthly HPA Statement (invoice).
- Handle monthly parker management for off-street facilities (e.g., invoicing, processing new accounts, account cancellations).
- Coordinate with Hartford Yard Goats management and accounting team regarding billing and communication.
- Process and manage purchase orders for operational supplies (with approval from relevant managers).
- Liaise with accounting department to ensure timely and accurate revenue reporting and tax submissions.
- Provide professional and respectful communication to assist parking patrons and clients; escalate issues as necessary to shift leads or Operations Manager.
- Event Season (Late Spring – Early Fall): Typically Monday–Friday, 12 PM – 8 PM, with flexibility for nights and weekends based on event schedules.

Non-Event Season: Standard hours of 8 AM – 5 PM, Monday–Friday.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Experience in parking operations is preferred but not required
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) coupled with advanced Excel knowledge
- Strong bookkeeping background is preferred
- Valid Driving license
