As a Security Officer - Armed Part-Time Aero Patrol in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more.

As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic aerospace and defense location. Pay Rate: $23.06 / Hour

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism throughout.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities, with attention to the unique requirements of an aero and defense location.
• Monitor access points and control entry and exit of personnel and vehicles to help to deter unauthorized access.
• Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activities, documenting incidents according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders as required during critical incidents.
• Maintain a visible armed presence to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to those on site.
• Participate in site-specific training and maintain required certifications for armed patrol duties.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
