The Role
We are looking for a visionary and pragmatic Director of AI Enablement & Marketing Automation to lead the transformation of our growth marketing organization through the power of AI and intelligent automation. This leader will play a critical role in evolving how our team operates — reimagining workflows, eliminating inefficiencies, and empowering marketers to work smarter, faster, and more creatively.
As a senior member of the team, you will drive the adoption of AI tools, design and scale automation frameworks, and create a culture of continuous innovation. You’ll partner across marketing, operations, sales, IT, and executive leadership to embed AI into the way we think, plan, and execute across the funnel.

The Main Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Transformation
• Define and lead the AI enablement vision for growth marketing, aligned to business goals and innovation priorities
• Champion a future-ready marketing culture that embraces experimentation, AI fluency, and data-driven decision-making.
• Act as an executive-level advisor on how AI and automation can unlock strategic growth, scalability, and cost efficiency.
AI & Automation Strategy
• Partner with RevOps and Martech to align AI/automation initiatives with broader tech stack, CRM systems, and data governance.
• Evaluate, implement, and operationalize AI and automation tools that drive measurable impact across marketing (e.g., campaign execution, content creation, reporting).
• Develop use-case libraries, AI training programs, and internal enablement initiatives to increase adoption and fluency across all levels of the marketing team.
Team Enablement & Process Innovation
• Identify opportunities to streamline and automate repeatable processes, freeing up team capacity for higher-value work.
• Lead workshops, hands-on training, and resource creation to make AI/automation accessible to marketers of all technical levels.
• Build scalable, documented systems and workflows that improve speed to market and operational excellence.
Cross-Functional Influence
• Serve as a key liaison across Marketing, Sales, IT, Product, and Legal to ensure alignment and compliance as new technologies are adopted.
• Provide strategic guidance to senior leaders on AI and automation implications for campaign planning, customer engagement, and pipeline generation.
• Measure and communicate the ROI of AI/automation initiatives through clear reporting, KPIs, and success stories.
What We Look For in a Candidate
- 10+ years of experience in growth marketing, digital transformation, marketing operations, or a related field, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role
- Proven track record of leading large-scale change initiatives in marketing orgs, especially around process innovation and emerging technology
- Deep expertise in marketing tech platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Marketo) and modern AI/automation tools (e.g., OpenAI, Zapier, Make, Jasper, Claude)
- Strong analytical mindset and ability to connect technology investments to business outcomes
- Outstanding facilitation, communication, and executive stakeholder management skills
- Experience building and managing cross-functional teams and/or centers of excellence
Preferred Experience:
- Prior experience implementing AI strategy at an enterprise or high-growth company level
- Experience in process improvement or process engineering
- Familiarity with Agile or Lean marketing methodologies
- Background in B2B SaaS, tech, telecom, or data-driven organizations
- AI certifications, automation credentials, or thought leadership in the AI/MarTech space
Success in This Role Looks Like:
- 30–50% reduction in manual, repeatable marketing tasks through automation
- Wide-scale AI adoption and usage across marketing functions within 6–12 months
- Uplift in campaign velocity, content quality
