Role Summary

As an Electrical Service Technician, you’ll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems related to grain dryers, controls, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and other equipment. You’ll work closely with our clients to address their electrical needs promptly and efficiently.

Job Responsibilities

• Electrical Repairs and Maintenance:
  • Troubleshoot and repair       electrical issues in grain dryers, control panels, and other equipment.
  • Perform preventive maintenance       to minimize downtime and ensure optimal system performance.
  • Collaborate with other       technicians to address complex electrical problems.
• Installation and Upgrades:
  • Install and upgrade electrical       components, including VFDs, motor starters, and sensors.
  • Ensure compliance with safety       standards and local regulations during installations.
• On-the-Job Training:
  • Participate in training sessions       to enhance your skills and stay up-to-date with industry advancements.
  • Learn about specific equipment       models and their electrical requirements.
• Safety and Compliance:
  • Adhere to safety protocols while       working at heights, in outdoor environments, and around electrical       equipment.
  • Maintain a valid driver’s       license and follow traffic rules when traveling to client sites.
• Customer Service:
  • Interact with clients       professionally, addressing their concerns and providing excellent       service.
  • Collaborate with team members to       meet project deadlines and exceed client expectations.

Requirements

 Required Skills and Qualifications

• Electrical Expertise:
  • Experience working with       electrical systems, including troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Familiarity with controls, VFDs,       and grain dryer electrical components.
• Physical Abilities:
  • Ability to climb ladders, work       outdoors, and lift moderately heavy equipment.
  • Comfortable working in various       weather conditions.
• Valid Driver’s License:
  • A valid driver’s license is       essential for traveling to client sites.
• Team Player:
  • Work effectively within a team,       collaborating with other technicians and support staff.
  • Excellent communication skills       to interact with clients and colleagues.
• Customer Service Orientation:
  • Provide friendly and helpful       service to clients, addressing their needs promptly.
