Job Description

We are looking for an Assistant Manager, Accounts Payable who is ready to step into a key role supporting daily AP operations while also contributing to general ledger activities and close support.
In this role, you will help lead a growing AP team, ensure timely and accurate invoice and payment processing, and work closely with internal partners to address issues and fine-tune existing processes. You will also support general ledger activities, including reviewing journal entries, assisting with account reconciliations, and contributing to period-end close. A solid understanding of accounting principles is essential. Success in this role requires strong problem-solving skills, whether that means troubleshooting an invoice issue, clarifying a payment discrepancy, or guiding the team through day-to-day blockers.

What You’ll Do
- Oversee daily AP activities and ensure invoices and payments are processed accurately and on time
- Support and guide AP team members, helping them stay focused and aligned with priorities
- Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and other AP-related financial reporting
- Collaborate with Procurement, FP&A, and Accounting to resolve issues and maintain workflow continuity
- Maintain and update standard operating procedures to reflect current processes
- Assist with audits and month-end close tasks as needed
- Support consistency and alignment across global AP operations
- Provide coaching and development support to team members
- Participate in special projects or team initiatives that enhance overall AP operations

Qualifications
- 5 or more years of relevant experience in accounts payable or accounting, ideally in a public company
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or MBA is a plus
- Strong Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems (Oracle Fusion preferred
- Experience supporting audits, reconciliations, and compliance efforts
- Proven ability to lead, delegate, and follow through with consistency
- Comfortable navigating change and finding ways to work smarter
