Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire a Unit Support Coordinator for our Emergency Department who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing.
As a Unit Support Coordinator you will:
• Support departmental operations by providing effective and timely communications, maintaining a clean, safe and orderly work environment, maintaining data and related records, and by performing clerical and other support services as directed.
• Responsible for processing physician orders, communication, and other general duties.
Qualified candidates will possess:
• High school diploma / GED
• At least 6 months experience working in a hospital or doctor’s office.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology required.
• Proficient in PC, Internet and email required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Training in data entry of clinical systems preferred.
Job Description

Work Schedule:
VPT requirement is a 24-hour commitment within a 4-week scheduling period.
12 hours must be worked on weekend shift.
One summer holiday and one winter holiday are required.

Pay Range:
$17.91 - $24.18If the salary range is listed as $0 or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.
