Metropolitan Companies is looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join our team! The Assistant Project Manager will assist the construction team in planning and supervising multifamily apartment complex projects for our Haverford Square by Metropolitan division. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing and directing construction projects from conception to completion
• Assist in reviewing the project in-depth to schedule deliverables
• Assist in overseeing all construction to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations
• Assist in meeting contractual conditions of performance
• Review the work progress on daily basis
• Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status
• Assist in planning and problem solving
• Negotiate terms of agreements, and obtain permits and licenses
• Analyze, manage and mitigate risks
• Ensure quality construction standards and the use of property construction techniques

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Requirements:

• HS diploma or GED
• 3 years’ experience in construction
• Proficiency with Microsoft office
• Ability to read blueprints
• Experience with RFIs and submittals
• Ability to travel to job sites as needed

Preferred:

• BS degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field
• Experience in management in the construction industry
• Project management software experience (ex. Procore)
