In this role, you will lead projects and guide teams to deliver top-quality outcomes, develop sustainability reports aligned with global standards, and manage regulatory disclosures under EU frameworks. You will also analyze market trends, curate ESG data, and contribute to strategic insights that shape client decisions. By fostering innovation and ensuring compliance, you will help advance sustainable finance and strengthen ESG integration across the organization.</p><p><strong><strong><strong><br/></strong></strong></strong><strong><strong><strong>The key responsibilities of this role will include:</strong></strong></strong></p><ul> <li>Lead ESG &amp; Sustainability projects in Banking sector, managing teams and ensuring high-quality deliverables</li> <li>Develop sustainability reports under international standards (ESRS, GRI, SASB) and oversee client requests</li> <li>Conduct market research, create presentations, and select ESG data for reports and ratings</li> <li>Contribute to thought leadership, driving business development with ESG expertise</li> <li>Stay updated on global ESG trends, standards, and certifications, sharing insights with leadership</li> <li>Support EU Taxonomy implementation, data management, and Green Asset Ratio disclosures</li> <li>Coordinate supervisory disclosures (CSRD, CSDDD, SFDR) and ensure data quality control for all ESG submissions</li> <li>Participate in Pillar 3 ESG data disclosures (Scope 1, 2, 3, GAR, BTAR, climate/social risk) and conduct internal ESG training</li> <p><br/></p></ul><p><strong>To be successful at this role you need the following </strong><strong>(hard and soft skills)</strong><strong>:</strong></p><ul> <li>Experience in similar position, preferably in a consulting firm/ bank or a ESG/Sustainability division of an organization in Greece or abroad (the level depends of each candidate's experience)</li> <li>A Bachelor’s degree in Environmental / Economic / Business Administration / Finance and Banking / International Studies</li> <li>Knowledge of ISO management systems (ISO 14001, ISO 45001) </li> <li>Knowledge of International Standards (such as ESRS, GRI, SASB, TCFD, CDP, EcoVadis, United Nation Global compact, ISO 26000, OECD guidelines, AA1000)</li> <li>Any related certification will also be highly appreciated</li> <li>Fluent written and spoken English essential, knowledge of other languages a plus</li> <li>Expertise In use of Office Suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI</li> <li>Excellent collaboration and communication skills</li> <li>Well-organized, structured and meticulous</li> <li>Thorough and methodical approach to work</li> <li>Excellent interpersonal skills with a desire to work with diverse cultures</li> <li>Military Obligations fulfilled (if applicable)</li> </ul><p><br/><strong></strong><strong>What’s in it for You?</strong></p><p>At Grant Thornton Greece, we believe that great work deserves great rewards!
