The Opportunity
This position works out of our Austin, TX location in the Neuromodulation Division. Our Neuromodulation business includes implantable devices compatible with mobile technology to help people who suffer from chronic pain and movement disorders. These non-opioid therapies allow us to provide interventional pain therapy to patients throughout the pain continuum.
The Digital Marketing Specialist partners with the Global Chronic Pain Therapies and Movement Disorders marketing teams as well as other cross functional business partners to lead and manage Abbott’s consumer marketing strategy and execution. The ideal candidate should have command of best practices and trends in consumer marketing, enjoy being creative, and understand how to both build and convert a digital audience. In addition, they should be a passionate, consumer marketing enthusiast with lots of cross-functional capability, curiosity and desire to deliver unique, engaging, and measurable campaigns that are designed to engage users and create an interactive relationship between consumers and Abbott.
What You'll Work On
Execute all day to day consumer and digital marketing tactics, including:
- Responsible for collaborating on strategy and executing effective consumer marketing campaigns, programs, and events
- Manage lead generation program to capture and qualify consumers to generate patient demand
- Manage and/or create new consumer email journeys
- Manage editorial calendar and content development for social media platforms (incl. Facebook and YouTube)
- Manage consumer webinar promotion campaigns
- Partner with internal cross functional stakeholders and external agencies to develop creative, manage timelines and execution of current projects
- Research new digital opportunities across the customer lifecycle that may benefit the business
- Align with marketing budget, develop and track key performance indicators
- Localize campaigns and share learnings, development, implementation with other areas or countries where appropriate to align with strategic goals
- Support additional strategic marketing and communication initiatives as they emerge
- Ensure compliance in performing the overall activities
Reporting & Accountability:
- Establish KPIs, benchmarks and reports for all consumer marketing efforts using data from promotion channels, Google Analytics and Salesforce to track performance throughout the journey
- Provide comprehensive analysis, insights and recommendations for improvement by leveraging analytics data that identifies key areas that help increase engagement, and overall performance of campaigns on a scheduled basis
- Manage campaign timelines and budgets, as well as coordination of the production of any required campaign assets
- Constantly improve personal knowledge of consumer marketing best practices, staying up to date with current tech
