We are looking to hire a Senior Financial Analyst, America's Logistics immediately in a Hybrid (50/50) capacity at our Global Headquarters in Hunt Valley, Maryland.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Under the supervision of the Sr. Finance Manager – America’s Logistics, this position drives the day-to-day financial insight generation, monthly actuals analysis and reporting, quarterly financial forecast management, and business partnering for the distribution network within the America’s Region. Additionally, this role will also support the transportation team within the America’s Region as appropriate.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide business partnership and financial leadership on short-term business projects and long-term strategic objectives for America’s Distribution Organization
• Responsible for all financial analysis relating to the Distribution function that includes month-end bridge analysis vs. prior year & forecast; quarterly forecast process; annual budgeting processes
• Evaluate & analyze trends (i.e. overtime, temp labor, utility spend) and present findings to Senior Management in a way that drives action
• Provide financial support for the evaluation of identified opportunities or issues relating to strategy decision and network optimization
• Responsible for reporting & analysis relating to the delivery for cost savings across multiple sites and functions
• Support the project management analysis and activities relating to capital and key strategic distribution projects

• Maintain appropriate internal control environment and perform quarterly SOX certifications for the Distribution organization.

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or an equivalent business function

• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent business function
• Experience with forecasting & annual budget processes
• Strong working knowledge of MS Excel, SAP/ BW and TM1 and basic proficiency of Power Point & Word required.
• Excellent analytical, communication and organization skills
• Self-starter with ability to influence decisions and make financially justified recommendations.
• Critical thinking skills, and ability to problem solve using creative solutions
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively to resolve issues, handle multiple projects at once, work under pressure, apply judgment, and ask for aid in prioritizing as applicable.
• Ideal candidate will have a strong customer service focus

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Business MBA and/or CPA Experience
• Prior Supply Chain Finance Experience or Knowledge
