JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE
The Analyst is responsible for developing, communicating, and analyzing the Utility 5-year and long-term revenue forecasts, present estimates, and business scenarios to assist in establishing financial plans and driving new revenue growth business decisions and regulatory strategy.
JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop the Utility 5-year and long-term billed and unbilled revenue forecasts, present estimates, and business scenarios (including detail at the Operating Company, large industrial, rate class, revenue class, and monthly, quarterly, and annual levels) to support strategic, financial, and regulatory decisions and align with the Utility’s long-term strategy.
Provide rate and revenue analysis to support new revenue growth strategies and regulatory decisions and identify risks/opportunities.
Provide rate and revenue analysis to identify and explain drivers of forecast variances.
Perform the monthly weather normalization process.
Develop weather normalization models, including continuous improvement and refinement, for financial reporting and regulatory filings.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Minimum education required of the position
Bachelor's Degree in a technical or business-related field required or equivalent work experience.
Desired: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting
Minimum experience required of the position
Analyst III - 4-6 years of professional experience.
Analyst Sr or Sr Lead - At least 6 years of professional experience.
Desired: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Understanding of utility rates and rate structures
Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
Willingness to learn new processes and technologies
