Role Description:

As the Behavioral Health Specialist Fellowship Program Director, you'll be at the forefront of a revolutionary initiative, shaping the future of behavioral health in a value-based care model. This is your chance to lead, innovate, and expand a groundbreaking program that empowers new graduate BHS's to thrive. You'll orchestrate an unparalleled training experience, recruit top talent, and cultivate the next generation of social workers. Plus, you'll stay connected to patient care with a part-time clinical role (0.4 FTE). Report directly to the National Medical Director of Provider Education and ensure patients have access to high-quality mental healthcare!

Core Responsibilities:

• Curriculum Creation: Develop and refine the training curriculum to ensure it meets the program's goals and addresses the needs of Fellows.

• Recruitment: Collaborate with operations partners to ensure recruitment of high-quality candidates, including direct outreach to social work programs and social media posts. 

• Selection: Participate in the selection process of Fellowship candidates in coordination with local leaders. 

• Didactic Delivery: Develop and deliver high-quality didactic content to ensure BH Fellows are well prepared for their roles as BHS. 

• Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to team members and Fellows.

• Fellow Feedback and Evaluation: Create and implement structured evaluations of participants, and ensure they are on the pathway to licensure. Address any issues or concerns promptly. 

• Program Evaluation: Participation in the ongoing review of the program to assess the quality of the educational experience and to review the resources available in order to ensure that maximal benefit is being derived.

• Coordination with Operations: Collaborate closely with operational partners to ensure efficient workflows and positive participant experiences. 

• Stakeholder Engagement: Work with internal and external stakeholders to align program objectives and outcomes. 

• Performance Management: Track and evaluate the effectiveness of the program through metrics, assessments, and participant feedback.

• Dissemination: Represent the program at conferences, seminars, and other events to promote the program and build its reputation.

• Clinical Supervision: Oversee clinical supervision effort across the BH program. Continuously and systematically communicate successes and challenges in clinical supervision, provide recommended solutions and act as a resource on clinical licensure guidelines in multiple states.
