Senior Software Engineer

<p><strong>Job Title: Software Engineer senior</strong></p><p><strong>Location: Anywhere in EU</strong></p><p><strong>Duration: 6-12 months</strong></p><p> </p><p><br/> <strong>Mandatory Qualifications:</strong></p><p> </p><ol> <li>Bachelor/Master degree in computer science, mathematics, physics or engineering.</li> <li>In the absence of a Bachelor/ Master degree in the relevant field, demonstrated equivalent professional experience of at least 7 years can be accepted.</li> <li> </li> </ol><p><strong>Mandatory Experience:</strong></p><p> </p><ol> <li>7 years of experience in the field of Software Development for Financial Institutions.</li> <li>Knowledge of software development methodology, design and lifecycles.</li> <li>Experience supporting WallStreet Suite TRM interfaces and CSDs developments.</li> <li>Strong experience with Sybase ASE, PL/SQL, Python, XML and Linux.</li> <li>Strong ability to understand context for source code, the source codebase, and its relation to business objectives.</li> <li>Ability to work both independently and on a team.</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical information in a condensed manner to various stakeholders verbally and in writing.</li> <li>Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.</li> <li>Experience with agile development methodologies and software tools for agile planning as Jira.</li> </ol><p><br/> <strong>Preferred Qualifications/Experience:</strong></p><p> </p><ol> <li>Working knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD principles and practices. Continuous build and integration using Jenkins, Maven, Sonar, Liquibase, Junit.</li> <li>Behaviour driven testing and test automation using cucumber framework.</li> <li>GitHub or another source code repository.</li> <li>Knowledge of English.</li> </ol><p></p>
