Financial Analyst

About the role
Work closely with finance management and key business partners across Opry Entertainment Group(OEG) to provide thoughtful analysis within the businesses to shape the organization's future. Reports to Director of Financial Planning and Analysis.
- Design and develop recurring and ad hoc business reporting (e.g., financials, headcount, operating expenditures, business pacing analyses) to provide business partners with insightful data to make key strategic and operational decisions
- Assist with financial planning and analysis, including annual budget, monthly reporting and forecasting.
- Produce periodic operating reports distributed across the company and to senior leadership.
- Work within complex financial models and analytical tools to measure overall financial performance.
- Assist business units with planning efforts utilizing Planful, OEG's FP&A planning tool. Previous experience with Planful or other FP&A planning software is a plus.
- Develop and standardize financial reports, including monthly reporting packages to internal (management) and external (Board) stakeholders, comparing budgets to actuals and monthly reforecasts.
- Work cross-functionally with Operations, Marketing, Accounting, Retail, and IT.
- Prepare ad hoc financial analyses and projects.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA/MAcc/MSF/MBA a plus
- 2+ years relevant experience
- Previous FP&A experience, investment banking, or accounting preferred
- Previous experience in the financial management of live entertainment/hospitality/restaurant space preferred
- Experience with financial planning tools and ERP knowledge (Planful, Oracle EBS / Fusion,
Power BI, Micros, NetSuite) is also a plus
- Collaborative interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment, meet tight deadlines and prioritize work
- Self-motivated with a work ethic and desire to exceed expectations
- Advanced analytical and financial modeling skills; ability to synthesize significant amounts of data
- Advanced user knowledge of Excel
