We are excited to bring on a Business Analysist to lead an agile development team which resides in the Retail IQ Value Stream within the Retail Business Technology Solutions group. In this role, you will join a value stream product team and will be responsible for defining and prioritizing a product backlog focused on developing, supporting and improving Annuity feeds from the admin platform into AnnuityHQ feeds to our corporate downstream partners. You’ll work in close partnership with the Sr Business Analyst, supporting product management to translate those needs within agile software engineering teams to implement solutions that will drive outcomes that contribute to the success of our portfolio.

- Serves as a support to the Product Owner for Agile POD/Build Team(s) and Business Analyst(s)/Business System Analyst(s) in coordinating the enhancements to Annuity Data Repository
- Supporting Product Managers and other stakeholders to understand customer and business needs and current or emerging trends to refine the longer-term roadmap
- Collaborate effectively with appropriate stakeholders on complex issues and conflicts that impact time, cost, scope, quality and risk of assigned projects
- Writes up stories/requirements for Agile POD/Build Team(s) and Annuity Data Repository enhancement work including all items necessary to align and be current with product releases
- Submits User Acceptance Criteria and completes User Acceptance Testing
- Help build business intelligence for Annuity Data Solution
- Supporting the implementation and integration of improvements
- Prioritizing the product backlog to requested to ensure that the Agile software development team is focused on the highest value work
- Coordinating with other Product Owners and team members to manage dependencies across teams as needed, performing business analyst and QA support
- Proactively identify and recommend process improvements that significantly reduce workloads and/or maintains/improves quality
- Provide subject matter expertise to clarify development requirements
- Leverage data to ensure deliverables and key objectives are met

Must-haves:
- 3-5+ Years of experience in business systems analysis that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position (Required)
- Confident, comfortable communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to evaluate trends in data or information
- Demonstrated ability to identify and recommend processes improvements
- Demonstrated strong relationship management skills with internal clients (e.g. senior management, peers and colleagues); proven ability to develop creative and collaborative approaches
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative style
- Demonstrates strong project management skills and ability to balance multiple initiatives in a time-sensitive environment, under pressure, and meeting deadlines
- Can work in collaboration among colleagues, and peers; can influence outcomes without directing or commanding
Nice-to-haves:
- Experience operating with agile framework
- Experience with JIRA or similar workflow management tools
