BASIC PURPOSE: The Senior Business Systems Analyst role is to actively facilitate customer engaging technology initiatives. This will include interacting with business unit stakeholders, product owners, developers, system administrators, and vendors to ensure core goals and objectives are being met.  This individual will apply proven communication, analytical and problem-solving skills for the program to increase Love’s value proposition with technology platforms including PDI Enterprise, SAP, and other Accounting, Finance, and Sales software.

 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Act as liaison and primary contact to Business Units, Development, Data, Integration and Voice Services teams, providing an advocate for technology initiatives
• Participate in multiple technology and/or business releases and play a key role as subject matter expert for successful implementation
• Assist in change management efforts related to organization, and short- and long-term strategic plans and goals  
• Drive requirement generation across business and technology teams to support a healthy backlog of capability development within assigned areas of support
• Act as senior advisor to the team, providing deep functional expertise in the standards, process, procedures, and change management efforts
• Conduct complex analysis to prioritize recommendations toward solutions.  Manage resources to achieve department and company goals. 
• Quickly understand business needs and technical requirements and translate that understanding into the creation of better solutions
• Engage in building strong relationships with key stakeholders, subject matter experts and team members to earn their trust, confidence, and respect
• Other duties assigned as needed.  May include directing work to vendors, light project management, quality assurance or back-up Scrum Master functions

 

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Education:  Bachelor/Master’s degree in MIS, Business, Technology or related field
• Preferred Certifications:  Certification of Competency in Business Analysis (CCBA), Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP).  Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) Certifications are a plus but not required

Experience:

• Minimum of 8 years of Business Analysis with progressive responsibility. 
• Well-versed in basic accounting, finance, and generally accepted accounting principles as well as delivering excellent Customer Service
• Must possess excellent situational awareness and an ability to remain calm under pressure and be cognizant of how you are perceived.
• Able to motivate team members and build healthy, productive relationships within team and business partners.
• Ability to work with limited supervision, having significant latitude for independent judgment
• High-Level communication skills to collaborate, influence, and persuade others
• Ability to adapt to rapidly changing technology and apply it to business needs
• Strong use of business analysis tools such as Microsoft Office suite, visualization, and requirements management tools to interpret, condense, and communicate complex graphical and statistical information
• Business process design and documentation
• Agile methodology experience including Scrum framework
