As a Senior Innovation Consultant, you will be an integral part of our Group Innovation team, a diverse and international group that forms the backbone of Ramboll Group's innovation efforts. Your role will focus on scaling innovation in our markets, which include Buildings, Transport, Energy, Environment & Health, Water, Management Consulting, and Architecture & Landscape.

Key Responsibilities

1. Support our growth and scaling innovation teams.

• Assist in the development of growth and business plans for innovation.
• Organize sales and delivery activities in innovation teams.
• Monitor progress, provide feedback on performance, and contribute to project performance reviews.
• Plan and follow up on business reviews for innovation teams.

1. Collaborate with our Markets' Innovation and Digital Transformation teams.

• Define opportunity spaces for innovation in collaboration with the business.
• Scout for innovation opportunities with the potential to grow and scale.
• Update the innovation portfolio in dialogue with Innovation Leads across business units.

1. Facilitate Innovation and Digital Transformation Forum meetings.

• Plan forum meetings and follow up on actions.
• Track and share lessons learned across projects, facilitate the production of training material for best practice, and participate in training and implementation.

1. Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration.

• Build and maintain relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders across various functions and levels within Ramboll.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration across different teams and departments to ensure alignment and progress towards innovation goals.
• Act as a liaison between innovation teams and other departments, ensuring clear communication and understanding of innovation projects and their impacts.

1. Navigating Matrix Organization.

• Navigate through our matrix organization effectively, understanding the dynamics and complexities of different departments and how they interrelate.
• Coordinate with various teams across the organization to ensure the successful implementation of innovation projects.

For this role, your starting point is:

• 5+ years of experience working in innovation and/or digital business development.
• Familiarity with Lean Startup methodology and/or design thinking;
• Experience in developing/applying new business models;
• Proven track record of working on or supporting innovation teams/projects, preferably in a consulting organization;
• Proven experience working in a matrixed corporate organization, with the ability to navigate complex structures and dynamics;
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence a diverse range of stakeholders;
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with teams across different functions and levels within an organization;
• Experience in conflict resolution and consensus building among diverse groups.
• Cultural sensitivity and awareness, with the ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures;
• Ability to manage tasks independently and seek support when necessary;
• Excellent English skills; and
• Motivated to contribute to Ramboll's sustainability strategy and innovations.
